ith four boys in tow, we were in search of adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable memories. Join us as we take you through the highlights of our trip, from stunning beaches to delectable shave ice and unexpected culinary delights.
Our adventure began at Mana Kai Maui, a picturesque beachfront resort located in Kihei, Hawaii. The tranquil atmosphere and stunning ocean views immediately set the tone for our Hawaiian getaway. The boys wasted no time in building sandcastles and splashing in the clear waters of Keawakapu Beach, right outside our doorstep.
No Hawaiian vacation is complete without indulging in shave ice, and Peace, Love, Shave Ice in Kihei quickly became a favorite spot. With an array of vibrant flavors and generous servings, it was the perfect treat to cool off under the Hawaiian sun. The boys’ faces lit up as they enjoyed their colorful and refreshing shave ice creations.
One of the highlights of our trip was the scenic drive to Hana. Along the winding road, we marveled at lush rainforests, cascading waterfalls, and dramatic coastline views. Although the road ahead presented challenges, like the closure of certain sections due to landslides, we embraced the detour and discovered hidden gems along the way.
While navigating the road to Hana, we stumbled upon Hot Chicks Burgers, a roadside eatery with a unique and flavorful menu. The burgers, prepared with locally sourced ingredients, exceeded our expectations. It was a pleasant surprise that turned an unexpected delay into a memorable dining experience.
With the road to Hana behind us, we returned to the comfort of Wailea, where we concluded our day at the beach. The boys enjoyed more beachcombing and played in the gentle surf, while we watched the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky in vibrant hues.
