How much is a month in Europe with kids? Itinerary and COST Revealed
Traveling to Europe with four young boys may sound like a crazy idea, but it was...
Escape to paradise with this St. Regis Bora Bora Spa review. Discover the ultimate in relaxation, rejuvenation, and pure luxury as we explore this destination.
The jewel of French Polynesia, the St Regis Bora Bora resort offers relaxation like no other. Renewed as one of the world’s most idyllic destinations, this tropical paradise offers an unforgettable experience for those seeking ultimate relaxation and indulgence. As we vacationed, Jason and I enjoyed the pristine white-sand beaches from our overwater bungalow.Â
Located on a private islet, St Regis Bora Bora boasts breathtaking views. From crystal clear lagoons to vibrant marine life, this tropical vacation surpassed all expectations. However, even with all these amenties and perks, I am unsure if it was worth it. So, let’s do a cost breakdown!
St Regis Bora Bora Resort is undoubtedly an iconic and luxurious destination, but with nightly rates soaring around $3000, it’s essential to critically evaluate whether the experience justifies the price tag. Compared to the Four Seasons resort, which I found to be equally impressive, the St Regis was suprisingly more expensive. For a 3-day trip to St Regis I was able to book a 4-day stay with leftover money when booking at the Four Seasons. The luxurious accomodations and majestic views make it difficult to determine however when evaluating our trip I don’t think I can say it was worth it for the price.Â
The resort offers a range of gourmet dining options, featuring expertly prepared cuisine inspired by both Polynesian and international flavors. Whether you choose beachfront dining of intimate in-bungalow meals, the culinary experiences aim to delight the palate and provide a taste of local culture. I highly recommend dining at the Lagoon restaurant, as it was the nicest one we ate at.Â
Throughout our 3-day trip Jason and I participated in a range of activities from jet skiing to snorkelling to destressing in the spa. As one of the minimal expenses on our trip, I was still surprised how much it was in comparison to everything else.Â
Overall, I was unsatisfied with our stay in this incredibly luxurious island for the price. When compared with the Four Seasons trip, I am shocked with the price to quality difference. Though this resort was uniquely filled with opulance and relaxtion, my opinion still stands this resort was overpriced when compared with similar options.Â
