My Snowboarding Journey

We head to the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe to Snowboard at the Northstar Ski Resort. I love snowboarding at Northstar! Its my favorite Lake Tahoe resort and staying at the Ritz Carlton at Lake Tahoe makes it even better because of the mountain concierge or ski valet. If you want to ease the burden of skiing with littles then staying at the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe at northstar ski resort is the way to do it.

With four boys we decided to book a deluxe queen bedroom connected to the king bedroom. This way there was enough room for each of the boys, as well as my dad and I. The Deluxe Queen sleeps 5 and faces the mountains.

Crisis in Chilly Paradise

As we snowboarded down the mountain, disaster struck. Emmitt ended up falling and breaking his arm. Luckily, ski patrol is amazing and was able to jump right on it, wrapping him up and leaving him with ice. As we checked him out at the hospital I realized my diagnosis of a dislocation was a little off. Emmitt ended up breaking the top of his elbow off and was in need of surgery.

Nothing Like a Warm Dip in the Spa!

The next day, after figuring everything with Emmitt out, we did a couple more runs and finished off the day with a warm soak in the hot tub. My boys and I enjoyed ourselves so much over the trip and I definitely recommend trying it out for yourself!
