Snorkeling the Santa Maria Bay, snorkeling offers an experience like no other. Located out of Cabo, Pez Gato provides you with everything you need to fully immerse yourself.

Snorkeling in Cabo

Surrounded by the fresh Santa Maria Bay, the Pez Gato tour was incredible. The tropical waters were flooded with life. As a once forgotten fishing town, Cabo has grown to become one of the most renowned vacation spots. From reefs to whales we saw nearly everything needed to experience.

The tour begins with a Catamaran ride out to El Arco. Also known as the Arch, this iconic rock formation that erupts from the sea at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. Throughout the past 35 years, the popularity of Cabo’s boating activities, particularly snorkeling, has exploded. This however has not diminished the natural beauty below. Diving down, the reef surrounded us. Fish vividly darted back and forth, creating a snorkeling experience like no other.

Whale Sighting & Lunch

After snorkeling for a few hours, we were worn out and hungry. Luckily Pez Gato provided an all you can eat sandwich bar, equipping us with the necessary nutrients to refuel. From April to mid-December, Cabo San Lucas is home to a variety of migrating whales. Visiting in late December, we were lucky to have the chance to view these magnificent creatures. I was impressed with the quality of this snorkeling experience and can’t wait to try it again.
